Jinge He – Photographer | Artist | Digital Creator
biographyJinge He is a visual storyteller, photographer, and digital artist who bridges the realms of virtual worlds and contemporary visual culture. Specializing in game photography and conceptual image manipulation, he transforms digital environments into emotionally charged visual narratives, offering immersive experiences that extend beyond traditional photography.
He studied at Senator O'Connor College, Kalsbeek SPK College in the Netherlands, and Oxford College of Canada, before earning his degree in Photography from the University of the Arts London (UAL). Throughout his academic journey, he built a strong foundation in digital imaging, lighting, and post-production, while also delving into visual semiotics, interactive media, and futuristic aesthetics, which helped shape his unique visual language.
His work has been exhibited in both online and physical spaces, including a solo exhibition at the Westminster University Art Gallery, where he explored themes of virtual memory and digital identity, which garnered attention from the art community. Jinge excels at narrative composition, often blending elements of cyberpunk, minimalism, and dreamlike surrealism to create deeply perceptive visual atmospheres.
Beyond personal creation, Jinge has collaborated with independent game developers, digital platforms, and fellow artists, contributing to visual content creation and creative direction, enhancing the narrative and visual impact of various projects. He is proficient in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Unreal Engine, Blender, and several in-game engines, using them to manipulate digital imagery with creativity and precision.
His artistic practice reflects a deep exploration of themes such as "identity," "memory," and "space" in the post-digital era. He continues to experiment with cutting-edge technologies like AI-generated textures, photogrammetry, and augmented reality (AR), pushing the boundaries of what digital photography can achieve.
Driven by a passion for image innovation and a sharp sensitivity to visual poetry, Jinge continues to push the boundaries of modern photography, creating digital art that challenges conventions and sparks the imagination of its audience.
